Despite his ambitions to become a comedian, Farley’s dream did not get off the ground immediately. For a time, Farley took a job at his father’s oil factory, as a way of making ends meet. Although Farley was grateful to his father for the opportunity, he was not particularly happy at the oil factory.
Chris did not find the job to be particularly fulfilling, nor was it the path that he wanted to follow for the rest of his life. He remained fixated on his dream of becoming a comedian.
