One of the stranger things about Farley’s passing was that it helped to further reinforce the idea that a certain set of films is cursed. At different points, Farley was interested in making a biopic of the life of comedian Fatty Arbuckle, and adaptations of the books ‘The Incomparable Atuk’ and ‘A Confederacy of Dunces’.
These projects are thought to be cursed because comedians John Candy and John Belushi were also interested in taking them on, and each passed away at a young age.
