Despite his occasional mood swings and temper, Chris Farley was known to his friends as a generous and kind spirit, who wanted to make people happy whenever he could. Farley was truly dedicated to this, and beyond just trying to make those closest to him happy he also volunteered, spending numerous nights working at soup kitchens and helping the needy.
For Farley, this was about helping others rather than receiving praise, to the point that some of his friends didn’t even know he did this.
