You’d be hard-pressed to channel surf and not come across a reality show these days. They’re basically everywhere, and we don’t think they’ll be going away anytime soon. Whenever one show finishes, it seems that half a dozen arrive to replace them, and we can’t help but binge on them all. Even when they’re trashy and too over-produced, we still find ourselves getting tangled up in all the drama. These programs just know how to suck us in and not let us go until another season has finished.
One thing that we’ve had our eye on for several years now is Vanderpump Rules. A spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it follows the people who work at Lisa Vanderpump’s bar, SUR. At least, that was the initial premise.
Now that we’ve become invested in the lives of these wannabe celebrities, it’s been less about where they work and more about who they’re dating and what they’ve said behind each other’s back. The drama is relentless, and it’s become clear that none of the cast can keep secrets to themselves. However, that benefits us perfectly because it means we can find out more behind-the-scenes gossip without having to do any digging.
