The loveable character of Bosley was an assistant who always worked alongside the angels during their secret missions. Over the years, he grew close to the angels and helped them succeed more than he realized – he was the glue that held them all together.
However, the name ‘Bosley’ was originally meant to be something entirely different. It derived from an in-joke amongst the cast and crew which mocked the actor David Boyle, who would often be mistaken as another actor called Tom Bosley.
