Although we can’t help but wonder what the late 80s revival would have been like, sometimes it’s best to leave things to the imagination. We know this because the recent 2011 reboot was an absolute fail.
Fans were ecstatic to hear a re-imagination was in the works, but when the premiere aired in September 2011, audiences felt totally let down and disappointed. It simply lacked the magic of the original, mostly because the cast performances were seen as so poor. It was canceled and taken off air just four episodes in.
