By 1980, the TV industry and all those who worked in front of the camera as actors decided to go on strike against their unfair payment. We can’t imagine this low payment would be enough to strike now!
However, back then, the Screen Actors Guild urged all actors to join them in taking action, and the protest eventually went on to affect the filming of Charlie’s Angels fifth season. Perhaps this disruptive strike was also a reason why its fifth season was its last too?
