When John Forsythe was cast in ‘Charlie’s Angels’, producers were ecstatic that they managed to convince such a soap opera megastar to take part. At the time, he was a cast member on the hit drama series ‘Dynasty’, so his name was always going to pull in more viewers.
Amazingly enough, he was only cast a few days before shooting began, but it didn’t matter much because all of his lines were performed off-screen.
