Beth was amazed at how much their little argument had blown up. She’d barely even been thinking about it after it happened, but she had people approaching her on the street sending their best wishes.
All of these strangers were so concerned about her relationship and hoping they’d work things out, even though there were no problems to solve. It was a bizarre experience for the former model, but something she’d accepted came with being in the public eye. Her business was now everybody’s business.
