Reports that the Sterns were heading for divorce started up in early 2019 after Beth supposedly lost her temper with her husband. Usually, when the pair is seen together in public, they’re more loved-up than you’d expect a couple to be after nearly 20 years together. However, behind closed doors, Howard’s apparently been getting on his wife’s last nerve. It’s his negative attitude that’s been driving her up the wall, with Beth desperate for him to start looking more on the bright side of life.
Considering he’s always been something of a Debbie Downer, his low mood isn’t anything new. Unfortunately, it seems like his wife might be sick of his pessimism after living with it for so many years. Whatever her reason, it certainly looks like Beth needs her husband to change if they want to see their marriage through to the very end.
