If things really do end between Beth and Howard Stern, it won’t be the first time the latter’s had a failed marriage. The radio personality got divorced shortly before meeting his current wife, and that first relationship lasted a lot longer than this one. He was married to Alison Berns for 23 years before their separation was finalized.
In 2019, he and Beth will be celebrating 11 years together, putting them a long way off of matching his first marriage. However, the problems that brought his relationship with Berns to an end are unlikely to affect what he’s got going on with Beth. Back then, Howard was so obsessed with his work that he let it consume him. It reached the point where he was not only neglecting his wife but also their three children. However, with Stern now moving towards his 70s, work is no longer such an issue.
