Apparently Billy Joel’s fear of being considered a sell-out forced him to be careless with his money. The world-famous singer says that he didn’t want people to think he was just doing it for the money and only creating music for a pay day.
Because of this, he never payed attention to how much he made. This led to his former brother-in-law/manager allegedly stealing $90 million from him. Needless to say, Joel is a bit more cautious with his money now.
