Justin Timberlake might be worth $230 million, but that sure doesn’t mean he hasn’t made a few mistakes with money here and there. His biggest one happened in 2011 when he made a poor investment and judgment call.
Timberlake decided to say “bye bye bye” to $35 million to purchase MySpace. Little did he know, the social media site would become – if it hadn’t already – practically irrelevant and replaced by Facebook. At least he made up the money after ironically appearing in The Social Network, a movie about Facebook’s creation.
