After naming their daughter Alexis Olympia, Serena and her fiancé were excited to take her home and truly welcome her into their family. However, things weren’t going to be easy for them. Just days after the birth, Serena began to feel unwell. She was struggling to breathe, and she couldn’t stop coughing – which caused her C-section stitches to come apart. It was soon discovered that Serena not only had blood clots in her lungs but that she also had a haematoma in her stomach. She had to go under the knife for this to be removed.
