The woman on ‘The Rachael Ray Show’ was given a pair of electronic glasses made by eSight. They use cameras to capture the image before a computer enhances the image and shows it as many smaller pictures to help improve the world around someone with Stargardt’s.
The woman wanted to see her sister’s smile for the first time in so many years. All she needed to do was put the glasses over her head, and she immediately had the gift of sight after living in the dark for so long.
