What’s worse is that there had explicitly been a dress code. This means that the groom’s mom not only went out of her way to look like the bride, despite the fact it was also her son’s wedding day, but decided to ignore dress code instructions.
Perhaps she was mad at being told what to wear, but most parents are often included as part of the wedding party or asked to wear colors to show they’re a part of the family. This mom had no excuses to come wearing the dress.
