With a lot of downtime between movies later in his career, Reynolds had plenty of opportunities to read. He installed a personal library to his home to house all of the books he wanted to read.
Of course, there’s never really enough time in the day to read everything you want, but Reynolds’ collection definitely would have kept him busier than most. Reynolds walked with a cane in his older years, so hopefully he had someone on hand to climb the ladder to get his books on the top shelf!
