If Reynolds didn’t feel like reading in his library, he could have retired to this room and had his pick of the comfortable looking leather armchairs. The room is filled with encyclopedias which meant Reynolds could learn all about the world if he chose to.
If the books were not inspiring him, he could take a look around the room at all of the ornaments he had collected over the years. There are several ships for him to ponder over and yet more artwork to look at and think about.
