The cars we see racing around the tracks would turn people’s heads if there were to be driving down a regular street. Just because these cars are impressive on the track, doesn’t mean they are the only thing people come to see at a motor race.
Many fans back in the day would love to come to the track to see the whole event, and that includes the models too. Here we can see these models appear to be distracting the pit crews behind them from working on their cars.
