During the 1970s, Jungle Pam was one of the most popular figures in all of drag racing. She became so iconic to the drag racing scene that she was a celebrity in her own right.
Fans would spot Jungle Pam and ask her to sign their copies of magazines where she was featured on the cover. Pam’s popularity seemed to know no bounds while she was a part of the iconic ‘Jungle’ drag racing team alongside Jim Liberman.
