It might look as though these women are trying to scale some sort of mountain, but it’s actually just the speedway track. NASCAR tracks may famously just be giant ovals, but there is a little more to them than meets the eye.
On both corners is an extreme slope, which can be tricky to judge right as you hurtle your car around the track in the blink of an eye. The slope looks steep enough that some of these women are going to be sliding their way back to the ground.
