Kate’s mom, Lynn, is overbearing, brutally honest, and stylish as they come. She drives her daughter crazy with her nitpicky behavior and constant criticism. She desperately wants Kate to get married and settle down, much to Kate’s chagrin. She can also be manipulative and uses Drew to get messages to her daughter about her disapproval of her love life and personal choices. At the end of the day, though, Lynn cares deeply for her daughter and only wants the best for her.
