Sarcastic and saucy Kate is a longtime friend to Drew, Oswald, and Lewis. Though loyal, she has a temper and tends to deflect criticism with harsh rebuttals. She and Drew finally confess their love for one another in the seventh season of the show. In true Drew Carey Show fashion, the relationship doesn’t work out well when Kate discovers he’s already married to his old girlfriend, Nicki. She eventually leaves Cleveland at the beginning of season eight to marry a Navy aviator in Guam.
