After marrying her husband, TV producer Bill Lawrence, he cast her as another sarcastic and biting character, Jordan Sullivan on the hit sitcom Scrubs. She later starred in another Lawrence-created show, the romantic comedy series Cougar Town with Courtney Cox and Busy Phillips (Cox’s maneater character was rumored to be based on Miller’s real life). She has also appeared in the sitcoms The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Seinfeld, and Kate & Allie. Next up is a supporting role in the Gabrielle Union-starring thriller Breaking In. She and Lawrence have three children together.
