Heather McCallister is the eldest McCallister sibling, and as such she has a lot of responsibility on her shoulders. In fact, as the family scrambles to get to the airport the morning of their flight, it’s Heather’s responsibility to get all the kids into the van and make sure they’re all there.

But as she’s counting the kids she accidentally mistakes a neighbour’s boy for Kevin. Because of her miscalculation Kevin gets left behind and the Home Alone story is born.
