For eight years Catherine was the face of Sarah MacKenzie, or Mac as she was better known. Throughout the show we learn of the character’s troubled childhood that led to her joining the Marines, thus beginning her military career.
Landing the role in the show was one of the first most prominent parts for Catherine which shot her to fame at just 28 years old. Before JAG the actress had made a number of smaller appearances in TV shows and films, such as Friends and Mother of the Bride.
