Nichole Bloom joined the cast of Shameless during season four’s premiere episode. She plays Amanda, a fellow student of Lip’s who initially wanted nothing to do with him.
By the end of the season, she grows attached to Lip and the two eventually become an official couple. Amanda’s affluent parents, however, do not approve of the relationship and her father offers him $10,000 to stay away from her. Lip takes the money, but continues dating Amanda despite his promise to her father. However, the relationship comes to an end after discovering that Lip has not been loyal.
