Las Vegas simply wouldn’t be the same without Wayne Newton. The man has been entertaining audiences in Sin City for decades, performing thousands of shows over the years. Yet somehow, despite all this, he’s spent most of his career dealing with financial difficulties.

Part of that was down to his ownership of the Aladdin Hotel, which led to a variety of lawsuits. By the ‘90s, he was some $20 million in debt and filing for bankruptcy. The troubles didn’t end there, though, because he was later sued by the IRS.
