While filming An Officer and a Gentleman, Debra was cast as Richard Gere’s love interest. Great, right? Well, not quite. According to Winger, kissing Richard Gere was like kissing a “brick wall” and director Taylor Hackford was “an animal” who wanted the scenes to be as raunchy as possible. No joke, that sounds horrifying.
