There are some people who just don’t get along, and it’s pretty unfortunate when a producer picks those people to star alongside each other in a supposed blockbuster. Such was the case for Jason Lee and Shannen Doherty while on the set of Mallrats. apparently ,the two absolutely despised each other. Lee has since called Doherty “abrasive, brattish and generally unpleasant to work with,” which probably meant you could cut the tension during these kissing scenes with a knife.
