Every actor has their way of making a scene their own – but there are some who should really stop themselves. On the first day of filming Kramer vs. Kramer, Streep and Dustin were asked to reshoot a scene to make it more emotive. Before anyone knew what was happening, Dustin slapped Meryl across the face in a fit of rage he expected his character to be feeling, causing her to run off-stage. The pair then had to film more intimate scenes that were made incredibly difficult due to the assault.
