Hobbies are a great thing to have – they keep you occupied during your free time. Some people, including Tom Hanks, choose to collect stuff as part of their pastime. The actor is a massive fan of typewriters, to the point that he now apparently owns more than 250 of them.
These must take up a lot of room in his home, not that Hanks couldn’t afford to buy more space. We expect the man would have no trouble purchasing a whole house for his typewriters if he wanted to.
