We’re more used to Amy Poehler making people laugh with her comedy rather than having them in awe with her moves. However, before her TV career took off, she spent her time on the cheer squad at Burlington High School. For several years, she wowed audiences with her routines, which really helped boost Poehler’s confidence and showed her the joy of performing.
She later took that experience and poured it into her comedy, resulting in a massive gig on the variety series ‘Saturday Night Live.’ That changed her life forever.
