Many aspiring journalists out there probably consider Katie Couric to be an inspiration. She’s certainly had a career worth following, particularly with her work on all three of the United States’ big networks. Before Couric was making waves on television, though, she was just a humble student with big dreams.
She spent her high school days on cheerleading squads, although she hung up the pom-poms for a notepad and pen once she went off to college. We wonder if Katie misses those carefree days cheering at pep rallies.
