The ’00s were an excellent time for Ciara. The singer bagged herself three consecutive top-three albums, the second of which peaked at number one on the charts. Collectively, these records sold over 4 million copies in the U.S. alone, and they spawned memorable hits like ‘Goodies’ and ‘1, 2 Step.’
Ciara’s musical success came quickly after her time at Riverdale High School, where she gained attention as the captain of the cheerleading squad. Unfortunately, her cheering responsibilities fell to the wayside once her music career started to take off.
