The American television personality, socialite and designer, Nicole Richie, began dating the singer from the rock band, Good Charlotte, in 2006. The couple have two children together: a daughter, Harlow, born in 2008, and a son, Sparrow, born in 2009. Richie and Madden sold the first pictures of their daughter for $1 million to People magazine.
In early 2010, the couple announced that they were engaged, and were married later that same year. Currently, the family is residing in Los Angeles, California.
