Jessica Simpson and the NFL player Eric Johnson were introduced by friends in 2010. Later that same year, the couple announced their engagement and in 2011, they confirmed that Simpson was pregnant with their first child.
In 2012, their daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson was born, followed by their son in 2013, named Ace Knute Johnson. Jessica and Eric were wed in 2014 in Montecito, California, and have since welcomed a second daughter in 2019, Birdie Mae Johnson.
