In 2003, the American actor and film director, Tobey Maguire, met the jewelry designer, Jennifer Meyer, whilst on set for the movie ‘Seabiscuit’ at Universal Studios. Three years later, in 2006, they announced that they were engaged.
In November of that year, Jennifer gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Ruby. In 2007, Maguire and Meyer got married in Kona, Hawaii. In 2009, their second child, son Otis, was born. However, after nine years of being married, the couple announced that they were separating and in 2017, the divorce was finalized.
