Oscar- winning actor Matthew McConaughey met Brazilian model Camila Alves at a bar in Los Angeles in 2006. Despite Alves’ claims that she was initially disinterested in McConaughey, the couple has since been together since. In 2008, they welcomed their eldest son, followed by a daughter in 2010.
In 2011 they announced that they were engaged, and in 2012 they were married in their hometown of Austin, Texas in a private Catholic ceremony. Later that same year, they gave birth to another son.
