American musician Alicia Keys met her now-husband Swizz Beatz whilst they were teenagers. In 2010, the couple announced that they were engaged and Keys confirmed that she was pregnant with the couple’s first child. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa, they held a Zulu ceremony, blessing their unborn child.
In July of that year, they were married in a small and private ceremony. Their son Egypt Daoud Dean was born a few months later, in October, followed by a second son, Genesis Ali Dean, in December 2014.
