Agostino “Dino” De Laurentiis was arguably one of the most important names in Italian cinema during the 20th century. The film producer worked on more than 500 titles, 38 of which earned Academy Awards nominations.
Dino’s granddaughter Giada De Laurentiis built her career in front of the cameras, not behind them, as she’s the famous host from Food Network’s Giada at Home. She said she felt very uncomfortable during her first show, in 2003, but now she’s obviously mastered her craft, and people love her.
