There’s nothing like betrayal amongst good friends. Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor were not only two of the biggest stars of their time, but they were also close friends, too. They were that is until Reynolds’s husband, Eddie Fisher, left her to go marry Taylor. She did end up divorcing Fisher and marrying Richard Burton after only five years, but it took her much longer to repair her friendship with Reynolds. The two women worked together back in 2001, so at least they were able to move on before Taylor’s death in 2011 – Reynolds passed away in 2016.
