When it came to sharing her stories, Carrie Fisher decided to do something a little different. She didn’t simply release a book, but instead, explored various mediums to share some insight into her life. That included a one-woman stage show and a spoken word album, as well as a written account of her experiences.
All of these contained surprising glimpses of Fisher’s past, including the revelation that she’d once had electroconvulsive therapy. According to ‘Shockaholic’, she’d undergone the treatment to deal with depression, only to end up with memory loss.
