Comedian and talk-show host Chelsea Handler has repeatedly spoken about the fact that relationships are not necessary for her to feel fulfilled and happy. Handler dated Comcast CEO Ted Harbert for 4 years before breaking up – and was in a relationship with CEO of Balazs Properties, Andre Balazs, between 2011 and 2013.

Since then, Handler has claimed that dating for dating’s sake is a mistake – and is liable to lead someone toward settling with a partner that they are not actually very interested in.
