Apparently, it took 1,000 hours for the dress to go from concept to creation, with the end result well worth the effort. The outfit boasted a train that was twenty-foot long, which meant the designers had to use a lot of French lace and Italian silk.
It’s no wonder, then, that the dress supposedly cost $25,000. That’s without even considering the seven-pound tiara that Dion wore on the day. The headpiece was reportedly adorned with over 2,000 Austrian crystals, so you know it didn’t come cheap either.
