A big hint that we all should have seen coming is when Jenna questioned the very institution of marriage itself. She expressed her belief that people shouldn’t expect marriages to last forever. The idea that people are “bonded” for life through anything seems old school to Jenna, and a practice that’s from a different generation. If Jenna has her doubts about marriages lasting a lifetime, then that’s a pretty big obstacle for her and Channing to overcome.
