In ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’, Elly May Clampett, played by Donna Douglas, is known for her fondness for critters, often preferring their company to that of other people. As such, we see several different animals – including dogs, cats, skunks, and raccoons – in Elly May’s care throughout the show.
These animals were taken care of on set by Frank Inn, whose job was to make sure they were behaving appropriately and not demolishing the set at any point.
