Not content with being an actor, singer, and author, Buddy Ebsen was also an extremely talented dancer, appearing in several musicals early on in his career. This talent of his led to Ebsen being hired by Walt Disney in the 1920s and 30s to provide movement references to animators for their work on the ‘Silly Symphony’ series.
Ebsen’s movements were used for those of Mickey Mouse, meaning that Ebsen has played several of the most famous characters in film and TV history.
