Jeane and Paul planned to adopt both Jabin and Jubal. Sadly, Jabin fell ill and passed away before the couple ever got to welcome him home. The Briggs believe the doctors didn’t give Jabin a fair chance thanks to his condition.
They soon started to panic that Jubal would meet the same fate and knew they had to find a way to speed up the adoption process. Jeane and Paul had seen it happen before, and there was no way they were going to let history repeat itself.
