Abraham, their very first adoption, is now 36. He still lives at the family home in West Virginia. He is the very first inspirational story the Briggs can tell, since he was brought home suffering multiple injuries as an infant.
Despite everything, though, he was able to overcome his hardships. He is a gifted musician, and lives a relatively normal life. He even had a loving girlfriend, at least as of 2014. All this, because the Briggs were able to take him in their home.
